Had to trade my truck in with huge depreciation hit due to it being in 1000 pieces with no ETA on special tool to put back together and little faith that all the pieces would be put back together correctly in a timely fashion. This was correct line of thinking as it is 8 months later and it looks like maybe the dealership finally got back together. Between the dealer service department and horrendous experience with GM ācustomer serviceā this situation was one that had me seriously considering leaving GM altogether, which is almost a guarantee of if I run into similar issues again with my new truck or wifeās Suburban.
